BabyBoy

Ogden (BabyBoy) Wallace was born September 16, 1992 in Austin, Texas. At the age of 15, he and a friend created a rap duo for fun. As time went on, BabyBoy developed a love for hip hop and lyricism. Influenced by Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Immortal Technique at the time, BabyBoy tried to discover his own unique style and ability to create stories using rhythm and rhymes. By the age of 17, BabyBoy found his niche. At this point in his career, he found an up and coming lyricist by the name of J. Cole. By then, he found what he felt was the missing link in his style. From then on, BabyBoy made it a point to always keep his songs true to himself, and to never talk about things he did not posses. Always making sure he puts his life into his material, BabyBoy set himself apart from many of the rappers in Austin. Blowing away artists and audiences at open mics by his lyricsm and stage presence, it is also a phenomenon that he has such a solid and perfected style at the age of 17. Getting positive feedback and comments from his peers and on his videos posted on YouTube, BabyBoy is in the process of recording his first mixtape called "Classic" which is scheduled to release in early 2011. At18, BabyBoy's future is very promising and will soon obtain serious recognition. He is currently pursing a degree in Commercial Music Management at Austin Commuity College.
