Baby C

Female emcee, songwriter and performer Baby C bridges the gap between hip-hop and pop music. Inspired by hip-hop superstar “Eve”, Baby C showcases feminine strength and independence through her diverse lyrics.

Her impressive repertoire includes five album releases, multiple music videos and over 300 live performances across Canada; as well as, in Thailand, Indonesia, Guatemala and Costa Rica.  She has shared the stage with music icons: Mario, Bone Thugs & Harmony, Lil Debbie, Royce Da 5’9, and Swollen Members.

Baby C’s career really took a positive turn when in 2015, Baby C was discovered by SOCAN and SIRIUS XM Awarding Winning producer OVI BISTRICEANU (Mia Martina, Massari, CP Records). She was originally hired to record demo verses on pop hits, then soon became the feature artist on multiple projects to be released to Top40/CHR radio in 2016.

She featured on “Hold me Close Tonight” which won the Hot 107 Edmonton Hot Factor Competition. Later that year, Baby C's songwriting career was launched with the release of "Body Song" by Romanian artist Elena which hit 3 million views on Youtube. She also wrote three songs on the album "Words" for Afghan pop-star Mozhdah. In 2017, Ovi and Baby C took it to the next level and started recording independent projects which include “Hold You Down” and “Swipe” for her upcoming EP.

Continuing her international collaborations, Baby C wrote and featured on EDM singles “Paradise” and “Conquer” with Italian producer OSCAT (Southbeat Music). In 2018, she also wrote, featured and recorded a music video for Romanian pop song “Nothing Like Me” by Dony.

Currently, Baby C is working on her latest album “Perfect Life" to be released in 2020. The 10 track project will feature her latest release “Game Plan” which hit 65 thousand views on Youtube in 2019. It will also feature 4 tracks with Ovi Bistriceanu including “Swipe” and 4 tracks with producer SHUGARBOY (Juno Award Winner: Elaine Lil’Bit Sheppard, Tommy Mac of Hedley).
