BabyHowl are an exciting Indie/Alternative/Funk Rock band from Bracknell in Berkshire . Known for their eclectic range of songs and high energy sets , BabyHowl are fast becoming one of the most sought after acts on the local music scene.
BabyHowls debut EP, ‘Coalescent’ , was released to the music world via digital stores in January 2014 & has had radio exposure online and on BBC Berkshire’s Introducing show where the band were invited in for an interview which was aired in early Feb 2014.
BabyHowl have since been promoting the EP with a string of local gigs and are looking to reach and engage with audiences across the country .
The band have already started recording a debut album and are soon to be releasing a bonus live video track from the upcoming album .
With songs hitting on topics such as the everyday struggles, lost love ones, regret, escaping, family feuds, family loss, drug addiction and alcoholism, gambling, self-reflection and more, there is something for everyone in the bands music.
In October 2014 Babyhowl headlined the hugely successful inaugural Oxjam Bracknell in their hometown & also played Oxjam Reading Takeover.
2015 they plan to be a big year for them recording & releasing their debut album, as well as further gigs & hopefully festival slots. They welcome all enquiries & interest in their music.

Baby Howl were the outstanding winners of Jagz Battle of the Bands 2013, with cracking hi-octane tunes tempered with some slower raw Americana rock. They blasted their tight and memorable tracks out and showed their enjoyment on stage.

“It’s hard to pigeonhole their sound but there are elements of rock, soul, funk and blues in there. It just works.”
Graham Steel runs the music nights at Jagz in Ascot and has a long history of promoting gigs.
He also says Babyhowl are a band to look out for. The band won the Jagz band competition, which I happened to judge, and I agree entirely with Graham

And they towered the proverbial head and shoulders above the others.
A tight-knit bundle of rock ‘n’ roll blasted out one minute, and then a slow-burning raspy number oozed out the speakers the next.
The band were confident and in control on stage. They appeared the full package.
And yes, it turns out a couple of gig promoters think so too, and have predicted better things for the band in 2014.

“Our Oxjam Bracknell headliners Babyhowl have a really big following in Bracknell and play great alternative rock music” - Oxjam Bracknell organiser David
