Giovanni De Sanctis (un nome che abbiamo già incontrato negli About Wayne e Soul of the Cave) è tornato con un progetto solista, chiamato Bacàn.Qui sopra presentiamo il primo video, estratto dal disco in uscita nel 2018 per B2s. Si intitola Morning ed è una via di mezzo tra la sperimentazione elettronica e l’approccio da cantautore che ha segnato i progetti del musicista.
Nel video, girato da Alessandro Zonfrilli, si analizzano le infinite possibilità di risveglio del protagonista, che sceglie di volta in volta come organizzare la sua giornata, per poi reincontrarsi in un finale onirico.
Bacàn dice di prendere ispirazioni da Caribou, Battles, Empire of the Sun, Son Lux e Cristobal Tapia De Veer. Aspettiamo ora di sentire il suo primo disco. - Rolling stone IT

Bacàn is the name used by Giovanni De Sanctis (former member of About Wayne and Soul of the Cave) for his solo project.
Bacàn started as a spontaneous songwriting project, homemade, basing on digital and audio sound research. Rhythmical synths and lead bass lines, together with loops and exotic percussions are the basis for an avant-pop songwriting with cathartic lyrics about love, relationships and friendship.
Bacàn’s sound is continuously moving, it evolves with the environment around it, from which it takes its sound and rhythmic stimuli. The result is something close to electronic with rock/world and neo psychedelic influences.
Bacàn debut album will be released on January 2018.
