Back In The Attic

BandAlternativePop

This is music for the sake of having fun. It's indie/dance/pop to clap and sing along to, made to have a good time. Dynamic guitar lines with memorable, catchy melodies sure to get your feet tapping and your ears open.

Biography

Back In The Attic was formed in early 2005 with the intention of making fun music for people to enjoy. After a short search to complete the band, Mike LeRiche, Mat Madore and Jason Madore found Johno Brown and headed into the studio to record their first demos. The next few months were spent practicing, writing and playing local shows before heading back into the studio in November of 2005 to record their first release. What resulted was a six song EP entitled "...Just Be Thankful You're Not A Zombie And Bust A Groove". After a number of months being the band 'mom', it was decided that Gary Hampton join the band on keys; so that is what he did.
Currently BITA is searching to play anywhere that will have them, recently opening for Sleeper Set Sail. With plans and intentions of fun shows containing as much crowd interaction as possible, the boys are ready to be heard.

Lyrics

Rollercoaster Of Christmas Lovin'

Written By: Back In The Attic

...this could be that new beginning we've waiting oh so long for
and all those wasted nights will be no more

say 'goodbye' to the small town
now that you're on your own
a whisper in your ear
welcome to the next step, i'm glad to have you here
too many days have gone missing
and left us with a stale taste of regret
your life has finally just begun
the pace was just a walk, but now you're free to run

so we'll dance among the stars and go swimming on the moon
and we'll do all the things that they never let us do

I Bought You This Mask And I Expect You To Wear It

Written By: Back In The Attic

midnight on a beach in june
the stars come out to say 'hi'
the waves make the sweetest sounds
they crash and say 'goodbye'

the last day and the last chance, the lost oppurtunity

you breathe down my neck
i shiver through and through
the majestic sense of a dark night
gone too soon

the last day and the last chance, the lost oppurtunity

no more saying i will never say those things to you
i'm gonna do it right now and finally tell the truth

the last day and the last chance, the lost oppurtunity

The Turtle Gets The Goose

Written By: Back In The Attic

the beauty of a house gone to pieces
the tragedy of the still night
and ash it fell like snow in the sky
from space it must have looked like candlelight

(wait! no!) can i stand here and let it go?
(please! no!) i can't stand to let it go

so burn it down

the light shone down on this one horse town
i've been running all my life from what is sticking around

(wait! no!) can i stand here and let it go?
(please! no!) i can't stand to let it go

so burn it down
burn down!

so burn it down
