Back On Blues Band is a musical project born more than 15 years ago when the guitarist Alessandro Mori met the bassist Massimiliano Tantari. Over the years you saw the involvement of various musicians and singers and they all contributed to the completion of the project. Current lineup is undoubtedly the most complete and well-matched as ever. The main goal from the beginning was to retrace the history of the greatest blues artists from Skip James, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters to the latest Eric Clapton, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix. Great was the commitment to research of video and audio from the dawn of the blues today to understand and to know in depth the roots of this kind of music, since the first simple melodies were born during the harvest of cotton in America, since The first guitar was built with some wretched rope tied on the wing of a broken door. All this has shaped the group's musical style, that is the search for the roots, simplicity of the melodic lines and the timbre of different instruments that are the fundamental characteristics of the true and unmistakable blues. That is why even today the choice is to not use any type of modern device to improve the sound.
