Backpack Cliq

Back Pack Cliq was founded in 2006 by Sadrack “Jeano” Jean Michel in Delray, Florida. They began with a song on Myspace. After a lot of positive feedback, the group decided to take their name and career more seriously. Along the way there have been shifts in personnel. The group is currently comprised of Jeano, Don Don, JOsH!, and BOOBOO. Their extended family includes J-Blakk and JR. Each member has a unique performing and visual arts background. The group credits their artistic backgrounds for the open mindedness of their music. Aside from the arts, each member shares a common bond of having to grow up fast, making them wise beyond their years. Their sound is derived from aspects of rock, pop, hip-hop, and alternative music. Their 2nd mixtape “Plain N Sample (PS2)” is complete and slated for an April release. Aside from working on their 3rd mixtape “Plain N Sample (PS3)”, the group is also serving as brand ambassadors for the clothing line Frais Culture.
