Backwoods Company was formed in Chesapeake, Va. in 2014 and consists of: Ian Foutz (Drums/Vocals/Guitar), Scott Minner (Vocals/Bass), Jeff Hardesty (Vocals/Lead Guitar)
We have taken our unique musical influences and blended them into a musical style all our own that we affectionately call "Tractor Rock”! Tractor Rock is a cross between the more edgy, rock side of country (Jason Andean, Eric Church) and the more country side of southern rock ( The Cadillac 3, Blackberry Smoke) combined with our own hard rock influences!
We love what we play and we believe it lends to a very energetic and entertaining musical experience. When Backwoods Company shows up, we don't play TO a crowd, but instead we play along WITH the crowd! The main thing to remember about Backwoods Company is this: No matter what venue we are playing or what size the crowd is, we ALWAYS give 100%, we will always give our fans a show to remember!
