Bio
Twin brothers, Alex & Andrew Sossong started Backyard Kings in early 2010. Playing an acoustic-based, Indie/Pop rock they released their debut EP the following year. After some success of their sing-along anthemic single, "We Live For This", the band underwent several lineup changes resulting in the enlistment of the brothers’ younger siblings, Renold and Rosalie, on percussion and keys. After playing shows from throughout Pennsylvania and a brief period of latency, the band recorded their forthcoming full-length album. Set for a May 30th release at Club Cafe in Pittsburgh's South Side, it features their new single "Teenagers". "It's kind of a fun, upbeat throwback to just being reckless kids growing up in the middle of nowhere," says the band's frontman. The song can be downloaded for free on the bands Facebook page.
