Bio

Born in Maryland and raised in Virginia. Badluck a.k.a Dat TuckaBoy is a skilled hip hop artist and an accomplish graphic/web designer. His success in multiple artistics endeavors is a product of his drive and belief that only hard work pays off.

At an early age, Badluck showed multiple talents. He would draw prictures, he wrote his own books of scary stories, he made his own comic books and he wrote peoms. He started making music while in high school. In which, a group was formed by him and his cousin, the group was named NSR-NonSense Records. The group sold their CD's to local people and were known for their music by the younger generation in the surrounding area. For Badluck, music makes him feel invinceable and immortal, it is the ultimate liberation. He has a unique style that keeps him diverse. His musical influences are Q-Tip, Wu-Tang Clan and Big L. His family influences are his stepdad Lamonte, Uncle Fuddie and Uncle Pete. He admires their love and talent in music.

There were some turning points in his life that impacted his music. The loss of his Uncle Dennis, Grandmother Neal and his favorite cousin Cherie, made him look at life more and start expressing in his music. Badluck has been blessed with several opportunities, he has been approached by AR representatives and independent labels. His first performance was at the Perry Hall High School in Baltimore, MD. during black history month. He performed 2 of his singles, "Opposite Momentum" which is about worldly struggles such as teen pregnancy, homelessness, and Jena 6 and "2 Yung" that's about a young boy's decision in life. Badluck has been interviewed on the web radio show called "The Rhythm and Bay Show" hosted by Chev and Kuzin B, about his upcoming CD. Badluck also collaborated with the west coast hitmaker Chev on a single called "Luv Me Girl". He's done open mic at the Q Club in Richmond.

Badluck is currently persuing school in graphic/web design at ECPI in Richmond, Va and he continues to persue his music career. He has many projects going on with other unassigned artists. Badluck wants to inspire others by showing that if you have a dream follow it and make it happen.
