"A Show Unlike Any Other"

Do you like Broadway musicals, concerts, live rock music, and not afraid to sing out loud? How about I add laser light shows, and crazy costumes? What if I told you that there is a show with all those elements? The Bad Romance Show is a large-scale, national touring live concert theatrical musical production to the music of Lady Gaga. Did I say Lady Gaga? Absolutely! If you have not heard of this show, you have definitely been living under a rock.
The Bad Romance Show features the music industry’s most talented musicians and dancers along with an amazing storyline, choreography, sound, and light show to bring you a full production. I was surprised when I went to the November show live at the Concord Music Hall. First off, I do need to say that the venue is absolutely superb. The Concord Music Hall had an amazing sound and incredible lights. The venue in my opinion is the top music venue in Chicago. I can admit that I was never a Lady Gaga fan, but this show was so entertaining. They are able to add a pop-rock feel to her music, and create a great story. I was blown away by the vocalists, dancers, and musicians as they all came together to make the music and story flawless.
“I am so happy to be back in Chicago. It is such a different feeling when you play at home. It is great to see how far this show has come. We have a talented group of performers on stage that are second to none. We are blessed to have everyone in this show”, said Nick Vitogiannes show director.
The story is about a young performer named "Gia", who tries to find herself in this cruel city of performers. All she wants in life is to be the next top performer. The story takes you through her struggle with family, friends, and many rejections from record labels. This story will make you feel good about loving yourself and proving that there are no limitations once you put your mind to it. Sari Greenberg performs as the main character named "Gia". She really makes you believe in this character. When I looked around the crowd, I realized how many people were dressed with crazy Lady Gaga make up. I felt like I was part of a cult. Sari Greenberg would talk to the crowd, and they would yell back “Gia”. At one point Sari Greenberg was singing, suddenly she was raised 10 feet in the air with what looked like large stilts as dancers with skull masks were dancing around her.
“Sari really puts her heart and soul into every performance. She knows how to tell the story, perform it, and draw you in. She is a true performer”, said Nick Vitogiannes.
The choreography was designed and performed by Sebastian Gonzalez. “Sebastian is an amazing choreographer that saw the vision from the beginning. We wanted to tell the story with the dialog, and the dance. The dancers are extraordinary as they never miss a step and make you believe in Sebastian’s choreography. They are all very talented”, said Nick Vitogiannes.
The band is made up of talented performers that transform the Gaga pop into a rock-pop fell catering to anyone in the audience. “I have brought on some of the top musicians and vocalists in the country. They are the best at what they do”, said Nick Vitogiannes.
The Bad Romance Show is creating an amazing 2014 tour with cities like: Miami, Las Vegas, New York, Minneapolis, Atlantic City, Orlando, Indianapolis, and Cleveland to name a few. Make sure to catch this show when it stops back in Chicago. This is a must-see for anyone. Please visit www.badromanceshow.com for more information. - Chicago Tribune

"The Bad Romance Show is Amazing!!"

Dazzling lights, heart-pounding music by an incredible band, amazing choreography, incredible vocalist, is what fans were saying walking out of the beautiful Copernicus Theater in Chicago on March 16th. It was the opening night of the live concert musical production that pays tribute to Lady Gaga called Bad Romance.

As fans started to pack the theater with the smooth sounds of Michael S, he worked the crowd to get them ready for the Bad Romance Show.

The lights dim, and a 50-foot video screen appears to play a warm up video to get the audience out of their seats. The band came out and started to play with their talented main character and vocalist named Charissa Hope, the talented Floridian belting out notes with an incredible range. She was a perfect example of an amazing lead vocalist with an attitude. Hope was sharing the stage with six talented dancers in costume. It was the perfect combination of an edgy style.

The Bad Romance Show is about a talented singer by the name of “Gia”, who struggles as a starving artist in the music industry to make her dreams come true. Her voice just wants to be heard.

Throughout the show, the fans were out of their seats dancing, and singing to the songs that this production pays tribute to. They were sometimes even louder then the PA system singing hits like "Edge of Glory" and "Poker Face".

“I knew the show was going to be good, but I did not know I was going to get blown away,”says Gina Gipperich from Northbrook. That was the typical reaction to the show as fans were drenched in sweat by the end of the night.

“We wanted to make sure that the audience is involve in the show as much as possible. We want them to dress, dance, and sing along,” says Producer Nick Vitogiannes.

Bad Romance is looking to take their success from the first show in Chicago, and tour the nation with multiple stops in different cities. This show was just a good time. Make sure you see Bad Romance in a city near you. It was just amazing.
