"Blackout 101 at Taste of Temecula"

Blackout 101 rocked a muggy Main Street with their catchy sound and angst-driven lyrics, such as "Why are girls so difficult?" Main Street, from Front Street through just east of Pujol Street, was roped off for the sixth annual Temecula OnStage. Two stages, linen-lined tables and booths selling wine from local vineyards were set up.

The T-shirt-clad boys of Blackout 101 were the first of several musicians to thrill the mostly adult crowd of about 450 Saturday. The group Blood, Sweat and Tears, famous for hits in the 1970s, headlined the block party - Californian
