Bio

Bafoza also known as Bonginkosi Zondo, born in 1986 Senaoane, Soweto, is a multi-talented musician who began his music journey at Funda Community College in 2006. His passion for music has lead him into being a well-known musician and teacher who successfully taught for four years at Sacred Heart College, as an Arts & Culture, marimba teacher and choir master.  In 2015, he was offered an opportunity to teach Nursery Rhymes for a few months at Silveroaks Montessori Pre-primary School in Rensberg, Heidelberg. The new experience made him realise the importance of Early Childhood Development and the significant role music plays in the upbringing of children. With the help of his business partner Zinhle Mashinini; and through their company CiBon Music, he does Nursery Rhymes at the centre where their daughter Ndalo Enhle goes; which is one of more exciting edutainment activities to come through the programme titled Bafo for Kids. He is also Music producer, director, arranger and lead guitarist for an African contemporary jazz band called Tladi Soles; through his leadership, as a band they have performed on some of the greatest stages and venues namely; Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, Johannesburg Arts Alive, Nikki’s Oasis, Anelisa Café and Winnies Soul & Jazz Restaurant, just to mention but a few.

Tladi Soles released their debut album in April 2017, titled Till We Meet Again.
