Bah Ram You

BAH RAM YOU is a pop/punk trio from Los Angeles, CA. The band is comprised of asshole Sam Kikes, bassist Alexican the Mexican (Alexei Acosta), and drummer Seth Hansen. The band started in 2009 in San Francisco with Sam Kikes under the name 14k. During that time, Sam was moving back and fourth to Boston to attend Boston University's theatre program. 14k went through various lineups of friends, craigslist ads, and several forms of online dating sites. Sam could not ever find a group that would stick. Finally, at Boston University Sam met bassist Alexei Acosta who was also in the school of theatre. They both moved to Los Angeles where they met up with Seth Hansen and in 2011 turned 14k into BAH RAM YOU instead. BAH RAM YOU is high energy fun pop/punk with racey and witty lyrics. The band is often described as "Tongue in Cheek" and takes nothing seriously. The subject matter ranges from the usual poppy girlfriend party nonsense to nerd rage punk with songs like "I Love World of Warcraft So Fuck You". No one is safe from being made fun of by them which is made evident in their single "Pedro No Trabajo". They have been playing bars and college parties in the greater Los Angeles area and have just released their debut self-titled EP.
