Sixteen Months

Written By: Maurice Brennan

Sixteen months if I felt it once then it was another time
Want a reason a second chance hope you won't ever find
If it suits you stay but it doesn't have to mean you care
Little daffodil doesn't matter now if you swear

It's not about you it's not about you this time I'll make you cry
It's not about you its not about you this time I'll break your heart

It's a cabaret inside out tell me that you want to die
Lose the vampire stuff fine she took it but you're alive
No good talkin' up fights at the top you're already down
Lift your head up I want you to see what you done to yourself what you done to yourself

It's not about you it's not about you this time I'll make you cry
It's not about you its not about you this time I'll break your

There's no key for the place inside me if I can't find you
Missed encounters now I'm afraid I won't know what to do
Very simple the only mistake was we never lied
I won't listen I want you to see what you done to yourself what you done to yourself

It's not about you it's not about you this time I'll make you cry
It's not about you it's not about you this time I'll make you cry
It's not about you its not about you this time
I'll break your heart
I'll break your heart
I'll break your heart

In The City

Written By: Maurice Brennan

The stars are fading in outside the floor lights darken down
With time to wait or time to talk
I'm going to tell you anyhow
I'll never ever say you're right
if you don't lie down here
I've seen you in the morning light
you and me want the same thing

And it's somewhere down in the city it's somewhere down in the city

It's even deeper than you thought and I've been terrified
But being with someone less safe
it falls from you in time
And I don't want to wait outside and say the same things
And in the middle of the night
I'll see you again

And it's somewhere down in the city it's somewhere down in the city

You have to see me as I am and not just save me
I've thought of every single word
you and me want the same thing
The stars are fading in outside the floor lights darken down
And in the middle of the night I'll see you again

And it's somewhere down in the city it's somewhere down in the city
it's somewhere down in the city
it's somewhere down in the city
in the city
in the city
in the city....

Watch Out!

Watch Out!

VERSE

I’m thinking all the time I’ve spent I believe I meant to give it away
I’m dreaming that I’m not myself all the things I’ve felt coming away

Watch out…

VERSE 2

Odds and evens in the end all night there’s all kind of fights leave it alone.
New devils standing in the light it’s a bad old sky cover your soul

CHORUS

Watch out staring eyes I’ll give you life if you want it
Half the time they’ll hypnotize you right when you’re wrong
Watch out staring eyes cause I’ll be fine if you’re leaving
There’s no use in crying now you’re out on your own

Done again
Done it again
Done it again………………..ahhhhhh
Done it again

VERSE 3

Fear and favour going on the fire like a burning pyre where can it go
You will suffer with the same desires where the road gets higher taking you home

CHORUS

Different Sides

Written By: Maurice Brennan

Different Sides

Different sides cutting down to everything
Sick and tired what do I know
Looking like you¡¦ve counted out for every scene
So polite except for you

I wouldn¡¦t take you there but it¡¦s even real enough for me
Pull out the secret times but they lead me back again and back again

You stopped dead telling me all the time you knew
Wipe your face disappear for you
Understand you¡¦re dealing with fairytales
Safer lies better lie still

I¡¦ll tell you anything you can pass off with sympathy
If dreaming means falling as well
You¡¦ll have no other face counting out for every scene
No good for don¡¦t you try to feel

I wouldn¡¦t take you there but it¡¦s even real enough for me
Pull out the secret times but they lead me back again and back again
Back to the start again but it wasn¡¦t meant to be like this
Pull out the secret times but don¡¦t lead me back again and back again

No good for don¡¦t you try to feel
No good for don¡¦t you try to feel
No good for don¡¦t you try to feel
