Band’s Biography
Bakery Band was formed when Dan Freeborg contacted Jonathan Kramer in the Spring of 2007. With Dan’s experience in songwriting and Jonathan’s melodic bass lines, these two posed as a powerful songwriting duo. What they needed now was a hard-hitting, technical drummer; this void was filled by percussionist Brandon Nessen in the Summer of 2007. For the following months, Bakery Band began to write and record their debut EP. December 7th 2007, marked their first live performance at the Augsburg Battle of the Bands. With unanimous votes, Bakery Band won. The addition of Molli Gould on vocals and guitar marked the completion of the band. Now with the soon to be released EP, they are ready to contribute to the Minneapolis music scene.
