After a summer of sold out performances and showcases at venues such as o2 Academy, Somerset House, Jazz Cafe London, Cargo with Misha B and most recently a stand out set at Wireless Festival, Bakery Boys present the first installation of their new behind the scenes series Prologue.

Prologue is a video installation series of all things Bakery Boys. Follow the Bakers on their journey as we capture the highs, the lows, and everything inbetween. Delve into the mindset of a Baker and gain a unique perspective into their lifestyle, all the while being treated to some visual spectacles and exclusive unreleased content along the way.

For this installment of Prologue #001 ‘Recognise’ Bakery Boys team up with Recognise The Movement to present to you the first of several videos set out to document the journey of this creative trio during the Summer of 2012. - Bside

"Bakery Boys ft The Thirst – “Up & Down Girl” | SClusive Music Video"

South London based creative collective Bakery Boys comprised of brothers Ace Boogie and Shack (whose father was a member of the legendary Soul II Soul collective) and childhood friend Dirty Dre drop off their follow up to their single “Hustlin Behaviour” which was released last year.
We are proud to exclusively present the official video for the collective’s single “Up & Down Girl” which features upcoming rock, indie band The Thirst‘s lead singer Mensah delivering a soulful melody over the mellow production, which is combined with an engaging and entertaining visual. The huge hit has already received support from countless media tastemakers, with the likes of MTV Base, Kiss, Flava, AKA and Massive RNB all adding the video to their TV playlists. The track was also Sarah-Jane’s weekend anthem on BBC 1xtra, with the accompanying video debuting exclusively on SoulCulture earlier this week. The mellow track, which features a soulful melody from Mensah (lead singer from rock / indie band The Thirst), highlights the diverse talents of the Bakery Boys collective. - SBTV

Taking the recent number one record and flipping it on its head, the boys add their own unique style of wordplay to the track, resulting in a remix which will appeal to both fans of the original and fans of true hip hop lyricism. After a solid debut year of sold out performances and showcases, supporting International artists on tour such as Big Sean, featured in Channel 4s Hollyoaks, nominated for MTVs best unsigned for 2013 not to mention their stand out set at both Wireless Festival 2012 & Wireless 2013, Bakery Boys are set to continue to fast track through the ranks of New UK talent.

Fusing melodic urban pop with fresh UK hip-hop, that draws its inspiration from pioneers such as Jay-Z, Tupac, Soul II Soul & Jamiroquai as equally as it does to contemporaries such as Kanye West, ASAP Rocky, Frank Ocean & Drake; Bakery Boys represent a credible Urban Pop collective that stands out from the crowd.

Their conceptual ideas and fresh approach differentiate the collective from the rest of their musical peers as their creative background adds continual space for new developments and exciting projects.
