Ballast (formerly This is Treason) is a five-piece melodic hardcore band from Derry, NH. They are a group of guys who love to make music and have a good time. Even though they have only been together for about a year, their solid sound, mature songwriting and energetic stage presence shows that this is only the beginning. The best is yet to come for original members: Brian (Guitar/Vocals), Sean (Bass) and Seth (Drums/Vocals) as they team up with Nate (Guitar) and Dave (Lead Vocals) who joined in October 2008.
