Bio

A native of Town Creek AL. Born Billy Demardrick Allen on Oct. 30, 1990. B. started singing at the age of 3. He discovered his love for singing as he attended Church choir practice, sitting at his mother feet in the choir stand. His first public appearance was in the park of Courtland, Al. He later sang for his Kindergarten graduation at Grace Daycare Center. Billy enhanced his music skills by taking piano lessons and playing the tuba in
R. A Hubbard High School band. He also sings in several community choirs and all four choirs in his church at First M.B. Church of Town Creek, Al. He sing with the Muscle Shoals Community Choir under the direction of the late Dwight Winston where he had the opportunity participate in an opening for Ms. Dottie Peoples. Billy has used his singing ability in several activities such as wedding, funerals, family reunions, picnics, birthday parties, Opening for Ricky Smiley(2011), and singing the National Anthems at sporting events, such as the State Basketball Tournament at the BBC in Birmingham, Al. He tried out for the America Idol at age 14 and was told he was not what they were looking for at that time. He has competed in several local and state competitions such as Lawrence County American Idol contest and won 1st place, and the Omega Psi Phi fraternity local and state contests and placed first and second place. Year (2012) Billy has tried out for season 2 USA X Factor where he performed in front of 6,000 people and Brittney Spears, Demi Lovato , LA Reid and Simon Cowell and made it past 3 auditions in Greensboro NC and 4 stages in bootcamp in Miami then got voted off in the last stage amongst other great talent!!!
