Ballistics – Arm Yourself
Ballistics write about doing what you want, f’in the system, family problems, making the best of what you’ve got, and not putting up with the BS of the world. The tracks on their most recent CD, Arm Yourself, literally scream those messages (with some woah’s in there too). They are a punk rock band with rhythm, as especially shown on track 3 – Life Scares Me To Death and track 4 and track 5 and well… you get the point. The music is a good mixture of fast riffs, diverse drum beats and not too long guitar solos. With 12 tracks on this CD, you can listen to it in about 43 minutes. Just enough time to get a good workout at the gym.

Bio
Ballistics are a California band that has been bombarding the west coast with some much-needed hardcore punk for the past 8 years. With the capitol city as their base and the road their home, theyve earned their swelling fan base with every drop of blood and sweat theyve left on stage during the course of the 400+ shows theyve played. Their drive and work ethic have landed them on stage with Against All Authority, US Bombs, Bracket, A Wilhelm Scream, DOA, and many others.
Since their inception theyve self released 2 full-length albums and one EP. Their latest LP, Arm Yourself offers twelve songs of pure aggressive hardcore punk that only comes from a band that has dedicated a lifetime to its art. Complex arrangements of guitars with furious drumbeats and a roaring message keep the listeners heart racing, mind encapsulated, and body rocking along. Do not let their experience belie their ages however, for they are only in their mid twenties and their lust for a spot in front of crowds all across the nation fuels them to push it harder at every practice and performance.
