Bio
Balsam Fir is just me, Gabriel Burke. I've been playing music since I was 6 and I've been writing music since I was 10. I am 19 years old now living and attending university in Guelph, Ontario. In high school my friends and I started a band called The Derivatives, and we played many shows around my home town of Collingwood. Unfortunately with all the members going their separate ways after graduation, the band was no more. Balsam Fir is simply the way of continuing making and playing music. I have no press, I have no label, all I have are a couple simple recordings of songs I've written. Hope you like them.
