Bio
I am a Canadian born Singer/songwirter and definitely no stranger to the music scene. My music reflects my passion and intensity for life and the world around me. My music truly holds something for everyone....I have combined my classical training with my love for the blues, country, pop and folk. As a result my audiences are never mainstreamed at my concerts. I guess that is what sets us apart from other bands. Also the lyrics and my stories in the songs really grab the attention of the listeners. There is always a message, always a story. I have truly been blessed to play with some incredible musicians, and what they bring to the music from drum solos, to bass solos, to flute and saxohone enhancement is awesome. They really know how to place things musically and make it mean something.
Born and raised in a small prairie town, I began performing at a very young age. Although my writing didn't develop until much later. Classically trained, I truly believe it was the many muscical influences that have shaped my music. From the late great Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley, and Johnny Cash, to Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston, Linda Rondstadt and Pat Benatar just to name a few.
