After the break came one of the most interesting performances of the night, Bandish. Making for a nice shift from the more rambunctious acts that came before them, these classical performers put forth a famous qawwali number called Chaap Tilak. Bandish - (composition) is a group of musicians based in Austin, Texas.
The band was inky an idea in the mind of a young, enthusiastic singer. The band then became reality in 2010.
Today Bandish performs music of different genres comprising indian, Spanish and English fusion songs.
The band performs at cultural events (University/Community), and occasions which demand exciting, innovative music and entertainment.
