Bandit's Roost

Bandit's Roost from Elkin, NC, brings its audiences an array of original and fresh sounding material that melds the backgrounds of these talented songwriters and instrumentalists into a unique fusion of folk, Celtic, Newgrass, and Americana. 

Members Caroline Noel Beverley on guitar, bass and vocals; Julian Charles on guitar, bass, percussion and vocals; RG Absher on banjo, guitar and hammered dulcimer; and David Blackmon on fiddle; captivate audiences with their innovative sounds and arrangements of traditional, as well as, original material. 

The combined musical backgrounds of these performers come through in many textures and colors in an astonishing style that’s been described as unique and enchanting. Band members share their song and instrumental writing prowess in a wide variety of subjects from historical events, life-changing experiences, relationships to various cultures, to humankind’s role in its stewardship of Planet Earth.
