Dating back to early 2005, with originality, eccentricity and longevity in mind Bang Department and No Allegiance meshed companies to create a strong tight nit family. Through perseverance, persistency and determination this group of Maryland based artists have come together to create a unique sound that has caught the attention of the world.
Comprised of a unique front stage: J Optimo, Ashley Alexander, Knotsworth, and Maseo Yarbro, are complimented by a stellar production team of Sonny Brix, Andre Bravo (Bang Department) and guitarist B.B. Green (No Allegiance)
Backed by an explosive pot of boiling artists the group is attempting to rejuvenate and re-spark a lyrical movement which hasn’t been seen since the likes of Rakim and KRS1.
With no genre to categorize, their conscious music is uplifting, informative, and sensual; leaving diverse crowds throughout the world demanding more!
