Formed in secret in Manhattan basements, BL innocently thought their music could be contained in slapdash jam sessions, but the combination of unconventional sex appeal & soul-infused jams soon grew beyond their modest hub.
Together they endured turf wars with the local EMT, financial woes [followed by emergency panhandling], and even swine flu! But they persevered through it all & emerged as an outfit armed & ready to nuke your notions of pop music.
