One trip across the sea inspired founder Jason Marc Pierce to bring this music back to the states and gather others along the way to continue to enhance the sound of what is now known as Banna (Gaelic for "the band").
A solo act became a duo, then a trio and then quickly grew to seven members.
Brought together to bring Celtic music to all good people, Banna is quickly becoming the favorite pub band in the Triad and beyond. We have played all over the Triad, including opening for Gaelic Storm at the Blind Tiger, and even ventured to Raleigh for a show or two.
