BANNERS

Born in Liverpool, UK, BANNERS was fascinated by dreams, life, death, hope and despair. He grew up singing in the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral Choir and the Liverpool Kop. After singing in cathedrals and concert halls across Europe, BANNERS went to work on his own material. Influenced by artists ranging from The Beatles to Arcade Fire, BANNERS’ music is at once haunting and hopeful, sure to resonate with audiences across space and age.

Signed to a worldwide recording and publishing deal with HOME/Island records and Nettwerk Music Group respectively, BANNERS music is set to be released and experienced on a much larger scale. To date, two songs (Ghosts And Shine A Light) have been released to great public and critical acclaim. The songs have racked up a total of over 300k plays on Soundcloud in only a period of weeks. Both songs charted in the top 5 of hype machines chart and a number of notable online publications have called BANNERS one to watch for the upcoming year and one of the most exciting new acts they have heard.

The songs have been featured in a number of high profile synchs including ESPN Monday Night Football, FIFA EA Sports 2016 and MTV Teen Wolf and have received organic radio airplay from some of the largest stations in the US including KROQ and KCRW.

BANNERS debut EP will be supported by an extensive radio and touring campaign prior to its release tentatively scheduled for Nov 2015
