Bio
Banquet Hall is a conglomerate of two talented former Boston singer/songwriters & one hard-hitting drummer. Rick Shaw is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who spent many years in the Boston music scene playing in bands such as: KrebStar, The Meltaways, Miranda Warning, & The Navy Blue Nuns. Paula Kelley is a well established artist and also has her own group called The Paula Kelley Orchestra (aka PKO). Randy Sattz has been playing drums since age 5, been in loads of bands, including BrainGarden, Primitive Machines, Black Radio, & Slipshod. Together they create an original, electic & energetic sound that runs the gamut from ballad to jangly to punk rock.
Due to their excellent songwriting/arrangement skills, well-crafted musicianship & tasty boy/girl vocal harmonies Banquet Hall has much larger live sound than your typical three-piece band.
