Bottle-fed by the American folk song, from Dylan to Cohen, Baptiste W. Hamon abandoned little by little the American influences which made him dream when he was a child to take up with his French roots. Left to Texas on the tracks of his idols, he also discovers the French realistic song: the words and the melodies of Brel, Barbara, Reggiani inspire him skillfully. Without denying his inheritance folk song / Country music, he writes from now on in French, as an obvious fact. Playing with a frail and hoarse voice(vote), the young singer-songwriter evolves in a darker, more poetic and melancholic register. Discover Baptiste W.
