Lyrics

When I'm Hurtin'

Written By: Barbara Dunne

My partner on the journey
My travelling friend
Has up and left me
No where near the end
He got off to early
In hindsight I see
Just what he meant to me

Chorus
And when i'm hurtin
i hurt everyone around me
When i'm hurtin
it hurts so bad
Whe n i'm hurtin
I hurt everyone around me
But whe i'm loving its alright

and I sat in that church
i felt so alone
i like your smile
I miss you oh

Chorus

Driving November

Written By: Barbara Dunne

Windscreen wiper going left to right
Little village in my rear view
Going out of sight
I've got this feeling
I'm gonna drive all night.
Till my heart stops pumpin
Till my head stops thumpin.

Drivin, November
Listenin to the radio
Drivin, November
And the DJ seems to know
Drivin, November.

Beads of water on my windowpane
Beads of water in my eyes.
Roads real wet and the car is sliding
I'm hoping that I find a place to hide in.

Chorus

Pull in for smokes at an all night station
Feels like I'm looking at the last light in the nation.
No life here
Cept for an occasional house.
Blue light from a TV
Red light from a fire.
White light ahead
Gonna take me through this mire.

Chorus
Drivin, November...

Human

Written By: Barbara Dunne

It's human to care
Human to share
Human to love and to hate
Human to compare

Chorus
Human human human
Human human human

It's human to feel all alone
To feel like not trying
To wanna go home
I wanna go home

Chorus

It's human to be lovely
To laugh and hear all the news
Human
To have mixed feelings
To hold different views

Chorus x 2

Don't Take me out this Christmas

Written By: Barbara Dunne

I've taken out the baubles
Got my tinsel on
Tied myself in ribbons
All the cobwebs gone
But you might'nt want to see me
When the pines start fallin
You'll love me till the Springtime comes calling

Chorus
Don't take me out this Christmas
Don't take me out of here
Don't take me out this Christmas
If you don't want to keep me for new year

I get so excited
People laughing, joking
I get warm and cheery
With the fire smoking

Chorus

Tell me when your ship comes in

Written By: Barbara Dunne

So you won't let me be your only lover
I can't take this any further
It makes me feel so worthless
I don't want to be with any other

Chorus
Tell me when your ship comes in
You're gonna give it everything
Tell me when your ship comes in

All I can see is water

And I have done everything that I can
To let you know how serious I am
To let you know that I'm not looking for treasure
Being with you
Is all my pleasure

Chorus

And it's makin it hard to breath
And its coming up to my chin
Now that you're not gonna make me leave
And you're never gonna let me in

Chorus x 2

May You Believe

Written By: Barbara Dunne

May You Believe

May you count your blessings
Every one
May every shower
Have a drop of sun
May you return
Leave your love undone

Pre Chorus/Chorus

It's not the time to tell you
About a heart thats breaking
But I've made up my mind
I'll be here waiting

For times when you struggle
Times when you grieve
Times you feel lonely
May you believe

May the road for you
Be the road you're on
May you remember me
While you're gone
Come back to me

Pre Chorus/Chorus
