Bio
James Linderman: Bio
James Linderman lives and works at theharmonyhouse, a music lesson, songwriting and recording preproduction facility in Newmarket, Ontario.
He has worked as a collaborating songwriter and consultant for The Toronto Office of Catholic Youth and leads a music workshop program for Life 100.3 Christian radio. James has been a resource for the national workshop program of The Songwriters Association of Canada and leads their Newmarket chapter. He also is the co-moderator of the CCM Club at SongU, a Nashville based songwriting resource.
James writes songwriting articles and music book reviews for The Muse’s Muse web magazine, www.musesmuse.com ( 3 million readers monthly), Canadian Musician Magazine, Songwriters Magazine, Professional Musician Magazine, Songwriters of Wisconsin International and The Dallas Songwriters Association. His writing is also featured in the James Linderman Wing of the library at www.songu.com.
He is an active member of the Canadian Gospel Music Association, The Ontario Council of Folk Festivals, The Songwriters Association of Canada and Socan.
James has a Canadian University and American College education in music theory and composition and is also pretty good at playing the guitar.
