"The Best Unsigned Bands - Barely Modern"

Unsigned 3 piece rock and roll at its best...

Barely Modern.

Barely Modern are:
Žiga Petkovšek (vocals, guitar)
Jan Vihar (drums)
Miha Kononenko (bass)

Hailing originally from Slovenia this band has found a new home in London town in pursuit of their musical efforts.

Having heard this band on recommendation of a friend in London I have to say I was not let down after he told me "they will knock your socks off".

The band has a hint of The Subways in there... Perhaps vocals raspy like Kelly Jones of The Stereophonics, but one things for sure, if you like your music with a bit of kick to it then this is the band for you.

I love the fact there is an element of we don't give a fuck about this band and that 2 fingers up Punk Rock attitude sometimes missing in the music scene today, whilst still remaining catchy enough to have mass appreal.

Certainly a band on the up and worth going to watch if your around the area. Below is my favourite tune by them, called "You look at me, I look at you" and also a track called "Bubba lemon"

Have a listen, enjoy and leave your feedback on the band, and while your at it get over to their Facebook page and show some love if you want... - http://www.waterloounsigned.com/
