The first episode of Barin The Great’s new vlog series is titled “Here to Stay,” and includes exclusive footage from performances, events, festivals, and studio sessions. “Here to Stay” personally introduces Barin and briefly spills some of the history of his music career and past projects. Our first submission for this week comes from Baton Rouge-based rapper Barin The Great. His Luke White-produced cut ‘Rush’ samples Stevie Wonder’s ‘All I Do’ and gives it an updated, almost trap-influenced beat which Barin flows over so well, providing two verses which are separated by an almost sung hook. In Louisiana the summer won’t officially end until like mid-October. However, with the school year now in effect things are slowing down. Music is not excluded in that. BTG came to end his summer campaign with a new track, ’20’ with vocals from none other than Jenna Illiniza. The track comes off real smooth and relaxing. It’ll be the perfect track to study to, smoke to, or just ride around with your windows down and enjoy.
