BARITONE has been on the scene since 2006 as one of Houston's most recognized Spoken Word Artists. B-TONE’s voice is smooth, his message is clear, and his motives are pure. With countless years of writing, he has come into his own poetic voice and is not afraid to share his love for Jesus Christ. Having ministered to audiences of over 3,000 at events such as The Fountain of Praise Fall Revival, South Park Baptist Church Annual Good Friday Concert, and other major rallies. He was the winner of the 2011 Best of The Blessed Talent Competition held at Houston Baptist University by The Rejoice Network.

His giftings have allowed him to share the stage not only with poets but vocalist such as Fred Hammond, V. Michael Mckay, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Jessica Reedy in addition to Zacardi Cortez, Chad Stevenson, Liz Vaughn, Tekai Hicks, Soul Fruit, and Harmon West , but BARITONE has also been featured throughout Houston and doesn’t limit his poetry only to sacred settings. You may hear him spit in a church that morning and later that day catch him as a featured artist at a local poetry spot all with the same spiritual message. B-TONE says, “Jesus went out into the world, so I should do the same.” BARITONE has performed at Spiritual Growth Church of Praise, The Fountain of Praise, New Faith Church, Abundant Love Christian Center, and various other outlets such as Bambou, G's & Z's, Secret Word Cafe, , Red Cat Jazz Cafe, Midtown Lounge, Skol Cas Bar and Grille just to name a few. He is the host of "The Comfort Zone" an open mic event held every 1st and 3rd Sunday's at Secret Word Cafe. He also produces his own talk show in Houston on The Rejoice Network also called "The Comfort Zone" a Christian based show that highlights individuals with an anointing on their lives in all aspects of ministry.
