Bio
Anyone who has roamed the countryside knows you can't get around without taking part of it with you. Likewise, several studious, passionate musicians came together in Tulsa, Oklahoma, discovering each one had separately picked up a deep love and understanding for the Great Tradition of American Folk.
Nevertheless, Barling is a band of many traditions, new and old. Somewhere between Wilco and Pete Seege, their hearts lie in storytelling and creating a moving experience that audiences can take home with them. Their songs are written from personal experience with honest observations and spiritual undercurrents.
