New England native Barry Arvin Young is the archetypal journeyman musician, having come a long way down the road and up through the ranks. Beginning his long career in various bands through the 1980s traveling the northeast circuit, he eventually worked his way through virtually every aspect of the music world, working as a bandmember, bandleader, songwriter for himself and others, a highly regarded audio engineer and tour manager, as well as guitar instructor and mentor to other young talents in his region. Now he steps out on his own into the world of acoustic singer/songwriter, where his bareboned no compromising style stands on its own. The man, his music, his story, in the classic tradition.
