Every man must walk his own path, a journey shaped by the choices he makes at every crossroads he faces.

Some choose to stop by the side of the road, accepting this as their final destination. Many let themselves be swept along by the crowd or to simply be led by the hand, allowing others to make the tough decisions for them.

And then there are the exceptions, the few who take a stand. Those who go against the grain and battle their way through the crowd… who rail against the injustice they see and beat a new path for themselves and for those who choose to follow.

Shaped by the inspirational experiences and seminal moments in his own life, the music of Barry Jones acts as a medium for the principles in which he so firmly believes and the shared values he so passionately seeks out in the world.

Empowered by the spiritual bond he feels with Mother Nature, Barry has fought long and hard to see those who have scarred her beautiful face, brought to justice… spreading his message through both song and action in his own vigorous yet peaceful manner.

The eternal power of love and hope feeds the seeds from which the songs of Barry Jones germinate before emerging to gradually spread their branches and create a canopy rich with wisdom and meaning. Simultaneously, Barry aims to educate and protect those who shelter beneath it from the excesses of materialism and greed.

Barry’s debut EP ‘Eternity’, signified the arrival of a bold new voice; while his follow up ’Pollution’ extended his reach into the minds and hearts of like-minded listeners. Now fans await the release of what is tipped to be his strongest work to date ‘Social Just Us’… a collection of songs that promises to be as insightful and reflective as they are honest and empowering.

Having stood up and taken action for the rights of political refugees and campaigned passionately to preserve the planet’s ancient forests, Barry has also sat with spiritual elders and inhaled the smoke from their sacred fire… all as a means of deepening his understanding of the world that surrounds him and influencing the music he creates.

Barry Jones welcomes the epithet ‘greenie’… in fact he wears it as a badge of honour! And while he may be pilloried for it by certain sectors of society, those of us that find we have chosen the easy path should be thankful that both he and his music are around!
