Barry Mack

"When you hear Barry Mack playing his slide guitar and his spirited vocals, you know you are in the presence of a blues great. He's an undiscovered treasure." -Viv Daze

Barry Mack began performing at the age of 14. Barry comes from a local celebrated musical family. Barry played on stage with his father for 9 years before continuing on solo. Barry moved to Toronto in 2002, and worked as a sessions player for various artists and opened for Jeff Healy.

Barry has played with a multitude of artists, including Dutch Mason (The Prime Minister of the blues), Joe Murphy, Rick Jeffries, Roger Howse, Carlo Spinazzola, and Rock Ranger to name a few. Barry is truly a gifted singer-songwriter, with haunting vocals and a scorching slide guitar. Barry has received rave reviews from Canadian media, and was nominated for an ECMA in 2000.

He is currently living in Italy in the countryside outside of Rome working on his next album and collaborating with musicians in Rome. Last summer, Barry headlined a blues/folk festival in Italy. Later this summer, Barry is planning a tour throughout Europe.
