These two words combine to create the unique sound of Basic Cadence. Proudly hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada Basic Cadence continues to impress and move crowds with our five piece display of raw musical talent. Although the band has been playing together for over two years, as individuals we have years of musical experience. With such diverse influences as the Dave Matthews Band and early Red Hot Chilli Peppers it is easy to see why our sound is catchy and new. Tight drum beats, funky slap bass lines, jazz style sax, smooth guitar riffs and strong emotion driven vocals creates the foundation on which Basic Cadence is established. Since our grand introduction into the music scene we have already established a powerful presence and an ever growing fan base. The most recent additions to our list of accomplishments are performing live on CHUM TV, numerous shows at major rock bars, being interviewed and aired live on UWO radio, being recognized as one of Southwestern Ontario’s best high school bands and recording our own fourteen track album. From our rock solid performances we have captured the pride and passion of Basic Cadence in our new three song demo. Basic Cadence will continue to rock crowds and move bodies as we expand our music and fans.
