Basikly is like a cross between Weezer and The Beetles. Harmonies for both vocals and guitars are a strong point for the band. When the crowd gets that first sound of bagpipes and rocked out melodies, it's easy to just sit back and enjoy good music or get up and dance. This band is composed really of three differend bands. When we all decided one day that having drama free fun and playing good music was important....Basikly was formed. We are from all over the USA....Deke is a Florida native, Drummee is from Illinois originally, Cornbread is from the Steel City in P.A., and Thad was born on Luke AFB in Phoenix. Charlotte just happened to be the meeting place for all of us. We all grew up in the 80's / early 90's, so from Van Halen to Soundgarden might be some CD's in our collection. Road trips with Basikly can be quite interesting as well......especially when Drummee and Thad decide to play football in the middle of McDonald's. Good times ahhhhhh Good times!
