It was in the Winter of 2009-2010 that rapper JD and singer Hannah came together in producer Jon's studio to record a few tunes. As the songs developed we realised we were creating something a bit different and it was sounding good so we looked for ways to develop the project.
So, what had started out as a studio project became a live band on 22nd May 2010 when we had our first gig at Mr Wolf's venue in Bristol. With the help of Howard on Sax and Kuba on Djembe we totally rocked the place!
Since then percussionist Digz has joined the band and Bass 6 have gone from strength to strength. We've performed at gigs and festivals in Bristol, London, Wales and beyond, always aiming to give the audience a great time, keeping it positive, keeping it groovy.
