(a.k.a. BassCache)
Artist – Musician – Producer
BassCache is an artist, musician and producer and is currently unsigned. The sounds produced from him are of a form of Electronic music. BassCache draws much of his inspiration from electronic artists’ from a sub-genre of Dubstep known as Chillstep. Although much of his inspiration does come from Chillstep, he does not stray from other forms of electronic genres such as Drum & Bass to House music.
Mike Valdez [a.k.a BassCache (base-cash)] was born and raised in the state of Hawai’i on the island of Oahu. For as long as he has been around, Mike has been very fond of music no matter what the genre. From middle school and on, Mike enrolled in the music programs so he could be around music during school. He would later go home and jam with his buddies after school (when he is done with his homework of course). During his high school career, Mike focused more on his musical career. While learning the art of Jazz, Mike and about a dozen others began performing at school assemblies and small parties. By 2011, Mike graduated with several awards acknowledging him under Moanalua High School’s music program. Upon entering college, Mike began creating electronic music and later adopted the name BassCache.
In the future, BassCache hopes to get more attention in the electronic music community. He soon hopes to be performing live Electronic Dance Music (EDM) and influence those who have a passion for music to also make music.
