God’s plan for Lionel and Lyndon Batiste lives began slowly and methodically during their formative years. It all started at “The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception” in Atlanta, GA.
The foundation was laid as they became altar boys and cantors - just wanting to serve God through music. However, the brothers never realized their lives would take on such an enormous calling. As time passed, Lionel and Lyndon began to feel the passion of music rising inside of them. Not as a “like to sing” or a hobby, but as a “have to”, a “need to” express themselves through music. That’s when Batiste was birth.

The pair continued to grow intellectually and spiritually. Both graduates of Morehouse College, they penned their own words and music from their life experiences. Batiste was on their way to becoming the “entire package”. This talented and Christ inspired duo is now emerging as one of the top Christian artists of this time.

Batiste has also been recognized for their outstanding work in the community. In 2010, Batiste received its’ fourth nomination for the prestigious Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards for Best Group/Duo. Batiste’s debut album titled “Love Is Your Greatest Gift” has transformed the thoughts and minds of many. Batiste states, “Our testimony is that we alone did not write the songs on our album, but they were given to us directly from God.”

Batiste is a powerful music ministry that communicates the message that “Love Is Your Greatest Gift”. They have witnessed, firsthand, how God uses their music as a tool to invigorate the hearts, minds and souls of people, by encouraging them to live in the power and truth of God’s love.
