The Battery Powered Blues Band

We're a traditional jazz and blues band with a punk take on electronica. We have a briefcase full of second hand drum machines, synthesisers, and dreams, and we loop each other live so that Gina can harmonise with herself and create magical glittery soundscapes. 

Also, sometimes we actually play jazz or blues if the vibe is right.

We play at a lot of partner dancing festivals, and we have our own rechargeable PA so can play 100% battery powered if there's no mains supply. We also host a regular jam night in Bristol (Fusion Jam: 3rd Thursday of every month, in collaboration with Gert Lush Blues https://www.facebook.com/GertLushBlues/)

We also available to run jam sessions, improvisation workshops, and we do a joint workshop with https://www.facebook.com/HazelDances/ on parallels between improvisation in music and dancing.
