MARION -First United Church of Christ, 326 S. Prospect St., invites the community to the second in a series of free concerts at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Battle of the Warrior is a Christian rock band that writes and performs Christian music around central Ohio, spreading God's Word to as many people as possible through their music.
Folks may come early at 5:30 p.m. to join in a labyrinth and walkathon as we enter the last week of Soles4Souls Mission Project, collecting donations of new or gently used shoes for distribution to those in need due to poverty or natural disasters.
Bring a friend and a lawn chair. Refreshments will be served.

Bio
Our band is formed of four average guys that want to make a difference for Jesus Christ. Matt Miller and Mike Johnson both attend Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio as music education and music business majors. Matt has been singing his whole life, and Mike has always been involved in music in some way or another. Jerry Polley has always enjoyed playing guitar from the early teen years and after finishing his enlistment with the U.S. Army, he has decided to make a difference for the Lord. Bruce Shifflet has been writing music for years and playing piano from the time he started school. A lover of all instruments, Bruce is the musical backbone of Battle of the Warrior.
