"The Night Before - Bazooka Jill [Review]"

"The best example of good soloing on the album is "Bloodhound" - the distortion with the wah pedal work quite well in unison to really show some emotion in the solo."

"If you like harder alt rock bands of the 90's (Alice In Chains, for example) or stuff like AC/DC and led Zeppelin, you might really like this band, so check them out." - Jordan Munson

Bio

Now based in Los Angeles, Bazooka Jill originated in Albuquerque, New Mexico where it was born as all great Rock bands are: in the garage.

Well it was a living room actually, but almost four years later the band has progressed dynamically. With a tour and multiple single and album releases under their belts, the remaining members of the original band have re-shaped their roots into an exciting new blend of modern electronic dance music and pure Rock N' Roll. Not to unveil too much of this carefully guarded secret, but they draw upon the musical ideas of classsic and contemporary artists ranging from the Beatles to the Gorillaz. The bass now lies under the capable fingers of San Diegan Jon Rocha (or as we say Roka) and the search for a permanent drummer continues. Until then, keep your ear to the ground for new recordings and the indomitable boom of the biggest rock sound since led.
