The BBQ BROTHERS are a tasty blend of roots rock, funk, reggae, folk and jamrock. Always progressing as an ensemble and exploring new sonic ideas and stage antics.

The BBQ BROTHERS music can be described as groovy, funky, jam oriented, roots rock. We twist musical tastes to form our own special sauce. Made up of four talented young guys from Orange County. All from essentially the same neighborhood we had plenty of time to get to know each other but more importantly each others signature sounds. Each member had previously collaborated with at least one other member previous projects, providing a continuity before the band had even officially formed. The BBQ BROTHERS started Memorial Day weekend 2005 at a back yard BBQ, from there we have moved on to bigger and better venues spanning from LA to San Diego including The Hard Rock Cafe, The Whisky A Go-Go, The Roxy, 14 Below, Hogue Barmichaels, The Cat Club, O'Connell's, Sugars, etc. and played out door festivals like the Orange International Street Fair. As far as style is concerned that is where we take otu own path. Even though we have many broad influences including The Grateful Dead, Phish, George Clinton & the P-Funk All Stars, Sly & the Family Stone, James Brown, Bob Marley, etc. we do our thing.

Echinacea Tea, Threw It All Away, HR Puff n' Stuff and others can be found in streaming files on variouos internet sites, from hand picked live shows.
