If you have ever been in the North Central Florida area, you just might have heard the name or music of Country Music Recording Artist Bryce Carlisle. He was born in January 1981, in the small country town of Trenton, Florida , population 1700 (also the home of Mercury recording artist Easton Corbin). Since the mid 1990s Bryce has been entertaining crowds of all sizes with his smoky vocals and his cleverly written songs. “My dad bought me my first guitar when I was 13, but didn’t think I’d do much with it because I was so into sports, especially baseball”. During High School Bryce’s attention started gearing more towards music. “I had gotten a few scholarship offers for baseball but the music thing really made me feel something inside like I’d never felt before, and I turned them down to pursue it”.

Through a mutual friend from nearby Ocala, Fl, Bryce was recommended to a well known Nashville session player and former band leader of Gary Morris. “A friend of mine had his mom come hear me play and called her old high school buddy Steve Brantley who then called me and told me to make the move to Nashville and he would introduce me to the right people”. The next month, in 2005, Bryce loaded up his truck and took every song idea he’d ever worked on and moved to Nashville.

While in Nashville, Bryce learned every aspect of the Country Music industry from Brantley and realized what it took to succeed. “Brantley basically put me through music industry 101” Bryce laughs.
“He taught me the art of crafting songs and the keys of becoming a top artist”. “Independently build yourself a musical empire”. After two years of learning, writing and playing with the best of the best in music city, Bryce relocated back to Trenton and began creating a heck of a following in the South Eastern USA.

Over the last two years, Bryce has shared the stage with Nashville recording artists such as Craig Morgan, Chris Cagle and many others. In Febuary 2009, he independently put his debut single “Big Night In A Small Town” out on country radio with heavy rotation in North Florida and South Georgia. And because of that, he has most recently caught the attention of a few Major record labels out of Nashville, Tennessee. Keep your eyes and ears open for this young man. You will be hearing bigger and better things as the years go by. Stay tuned!
