Bio

Hi, my name is B-Classy; well my real name is Quantia E. Wilkes, and I’m a raptress (rapper + actress). I was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey (I’m a southern girl at heart) on June 23, 1993 (my sign is the cancer). I’m one of four siblings, which consists of two older brothers (annoying at times) and a younger sister (such an angel). My mother, siblings, and I moved to Jacksonville, Florida (which is where my mom’s from) when I was 8. This is the place where I discovered that I really wanted to be a superstar. My mom sings and raps, as does my brothers (I guess that’s where I get my musical inspiration to rap). We moved to Atlanta, Georgia for about two years when I turned 13, this is where I picked up a newfound love for acting. I also did a lot of writing here, too (oh yeah, I also love to sketch fashions and do hair …I know, I envy myself sometimes too). I took about 5 months of acting classes and while in Georgia, I ended up getting a role in a movie called “Pastor Brown” to be out next year 2009, as an extra. The experience was great; it really showed me how much work is expected of you in the business of show business. I worked on set for two days (not to mention my mom and sister were extras too!) and the hours were long and we moved around a lot, but I loved it! I was chosen to sit in the front row of the church (where the movie was being shot) across from the celebs. I saw Tischa Campbell-Martin, Nicole Ari Parker, and Salli Richardson. Rockmund Dunbar, Michael Beechum, Michael B. Jordan, and Tasha Smith (I hugged her). It was so exciting, I’ll never forget it! At 14 ½, my mom, sister, and I moved back to Jacksonville, Fl (alright, alright, so we couldn’t stay away from the sunny beaches, who could blame us?) I’ve recorded my first song “My Shades” produced by the talented Qalaam (he’s the producer). And the single should be dropping by the end of this year, and look for my debut album coming out next year. Thanks for taking the time out to read this. (Smiles)... By the way, I write all my songs.
